Natasha Katumba first travelled to Africa when she was just 17 years of age. A talented freelance photographer, her heart for adventure had led her to stand in the middle of a slum in a country in the East of this huge continent.
Some 4000 miles from home, she looked into the eyes of those living there, and realised she was in love.
Uganda had stolen her heart.
Natasha first moved to Kampala to work alongside Revelation Life – a charity committed to bringing life and love to those trapped in poverty and darkness. During that time she has had the privilege of becoming family to some of the most inspiring women on the planet.
During her time based in Uganda she developed her photography business and began piecing together parts of the projects you see and love today. Five years later, currently based in Bath, the story develops…
“Since moving back to the UK, I have been truly blessed. Voice has begun to develop in ways I could never had imagined. I have discovered that there is a huge gap in society here in Britain and there could never be a better time, for our culture to begin investing in creative projects unfolding across nations. My dream is just one drop, in our vast, vast ocean.
